Obiettivi

The Fondazione Canova ONLUS is the managing body of the Antonio Canova Museum and Gypsotheca, located in Possagno, the artist's town. The museum is housed in the house where Antonio Canova was born, a historical building on several floors with architectural constraints and an articulated structure (with annexes built in later periods), whose visit path needed to be made accessible both from a strictly physical point of view (elimination of architectural barriers, sensory accessibility) and from a cognitive-educational point of view (introduction of tools for the enjoyment of the collection and in-depth content to as many categories of the public as possible, in terms of age and physical condition).

The Foundation decided to submit its intervention project to access the funding offered by the PNRR Call for Proposals Mission 1 - Digitisation, Innovation, Competitiveness and Culture, Measure 1 - 'Cultural Heritage for the Next Generation', Component 3 - Culture 4.0 (M1C3-3), Investment 1.2 'Removal of physical and cognitive barriers in museums, libraries and archives to enable wider access to and participation in culture' financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
